On this page you will find important information about your pension.
You will receive your pension benefit in your bank account no later than the 25th of the month. Do you have a foreign bank account? Then it will take longer for the money to appear in your account.
Benefit specification
Instead of a benefit specification, the information about the payment is on your bank statement. You can see the following descriptions here:
Description on your bank statement | Explanation |
---|---|
Exc | Our excasso number |
BR | The gross amount of your benefit |
LH | The withheld payroll tax |
ZVW | The contribution under the Health Insurance Act |
With each payment you will see a specification on your bank statement.
Bank account number
The account number from which we transfer amounts to you is: NL56INGB0007308641. You can see this account number on your bank statement.
Do you live abroad?
Then we will transfer amounts to you from bank account number NL36INGB0652783473.
Payment from multiple policies
We add up amounts from multiple policies. Do you have a pension product from former Delta Lloyd and from Nationale-Nederlanden? Then you will receive two separate payments from us.
New tax rates
At the beginning of a new year, tax rates may change. This can cause the benefits to change from January of that year. Check belastingdienst.nl for more information about the tax brackets and rates that apply in this year.
Have you accrued pension through different employers? On www.mijnpensioenoverzicht.nl you can see all your pensions together and from whom you receive these pensions.
In addition to the pension that you receive from Nationale-Nederlanden or through other pension providers, there is also a basic provision from the government. This is the AOW benefit. AOW stands for the General Old Age Pensions Act. The amount of your AOW depends on your marital status and how many years you have lived in the Netherlands. The amount of your AOW benefit is independent of how much pension you receive from Nationale-Nederlanden. When you receive your state pension depends on your date of birth and is independent of your retirement date. On svb.nl you can see from what age you will receive a AOW benefit.
Specification
You can see your payment specification on your bank statement with every payment.
Annual statement
Once a year, we will send you an annual statement for your tax return. You will receive this annual statement in February.
Pension overview
Every year you will receive a pension overview in which we state the amount and duration of your benefit and who the beneficiaries are.
Proof of life
Do you live abroad and receive an annuity and/or pension benefit? Then we ask you for a ‘proof of life’. We use this to determine whether your benefit should continue. This way we know whether you are still entitled to benefits. And we prevent too much from being paid out after your death. This can have financially and fiscally adverse consequences for your next of kin.
How do you arrange a proof of life?
• The document with which you prove that you are alive is officially called ‘attestatie de vita’. You can request this document from your municipality. There are usually costs associated with this.
• Do you receive an AOW benefit? Then you can send an ‘Overview of payment’ of your AOW benefit. You can find this overview in ‘My SVB’ on svb.nl. You can log in to 'My SVB' with your DigiD. You can also make a copy of a bank statement. The bank statement must show your AOW benefit and your name. We do not accept a copy of a bank statement of an ‘And/or account’ (joint account). We do not see on an And/or account who receives the AOW benefit. The SVB statement and the bank statement may not be older than three months.
• Do you receive an annuity and/or pension payment? Then you can also provide your proof of life digitally via facial verification. This is only possible if you live in one of these countries. You can read more about facial verification on the page Submit your ‘proof of life’ digitally?.
The amount of your net benefit may change. Reasons for this may include:
Once you reach AOW age, you no longer have to pay AOW premium. This changes your net benefit.
Have you had an exemption in the past? It may have expired. You can apply for a new exemption from the Tax Authorities (Belastingdienst). Make sure you do this on time, so that your benefit does not change. The Tax Authorities will notify us if you have received a new exemption. You do not have to do this yourself. It is possible that you will receive your exemption before we do. We will process the exemption with the effective date issued by the Tax Authorities. We will also correct any excess tax withheld.
This may have consequences for the deduction of the contribution ‘Health Insurance Act’ (Zorgverzekeringswet, Zvw) and contribution ‘Long-Term Care Act’ (Wet Langdurige Zorg, Wlz) from your benefit. This also happens if you move back to the Netherlands from abroad. You can find more information about this on the website of the Dutch Healthcare Institute, zorginstituutnederland.nl.
Do you want to inform us of a change in your payroll tax credit? Please contact us by phone on 088 663 60 00. You can also inform us about this using the contact form (choose English). We will send you a confirmation when we have adjusted the payroll tax credit.
If the tax rules change, this may affect the amount of your net benefit. Do you want to report a change to Nationale-Nederlanden yourself? Please visit our Service and Contact page.
You can receive a specification on request. Our contact details are at the bottom of this page.
The pensions will not be merged for the time being. The benefits of Delta Lloyd and Nationale-Nederlanden are separate and will continue to exist under the current conditions. You can merge your pension entitlements at certain times. We call this value transfer.
You will only receive amounts separately if we do not pay them on the same day. Amounts that we pay on the same day, we add together and deposit as one amount into your account.
You can have (part of) your benefit automatically transferred to your other account(s). Transferring can be done on the same day that you receive your benefit. You can arrange this with your bank or in your online banking environment.
We can help you in various ways.
You can handle many requests by yourself. Or you can contact us.
